"Small but very nice museum with paintings of Marval, Daubigny, Mainssieux, Decamps and other artists.
You can also smell and touch materials in specific zones so it may be interesting for kids. A few paintings have copies for people with vision problems, so you can touch them (copies, not paintings please), like 'Danseuse arabe aux étoiles' (my favorite one from there).
Also, the museum workers are very nice and helpful and will advise you with all your questions (special merci for them). In addition, you can have a ticket to MALP (Musée archéologique du Lac de Paladru), so it would be my next stop.
(Yes, I make photos of paintings together with descriptions)"

This is a small museum—a visit takes about an hour if you take your time—but it boasts a fine collection for its size. The visit is very pleasant. Each room has clear explanations.
The welcome was excellent. The only thing we missed was a guided tour.
The temporary exhibition on Orientalist painters is very interesting. Worth discovering."
