Reviews Summary

Fabrika is celebrated for its unique industrial-chic design, vibrant social atmosphere, and excellent location, making it a top choice for young travelers and groups. However, guests frequently mention significant issues with slow and inconsistent service, particularly during breakfast and check-out, and some find the vastness of the space challenging for solo connections.

"Very cool and trendy hotel located in the newer part of Tbilisi. We stayed with three friends in a spacious duplex room, which came with a large balcony. The rooms — just like the rest of the hotel — are stylish, modern, and roomy.

Fabrika is definitely the place to be for young travelers. The area comes alive in the evening, with plenty of restaurants and bars just steps away. A great vibe for hanging out with friends.

However, we were quite disappointed with the hotel’s service. Breakfast took forever — we waited a long time to be served, only to be told that most items were already unavailable, even though breakfast had just started. Once we finally placed our order, we had to wait even longer for our coffees to arrive.

The poor service showed again during checkout. We waited 15 minutes at the front desk, but no one showed up. There’s a phone number you can call, but it just rings behind the counter…

In short: highly recommended for the rooms and location, but the service definitely needs improvement."

"Coming in as a first time solo traveler, I had the expectation of Fabrika being this sort of Mecca for meeting new like-minded people and making traveler connections. However, the fact that the space is so big makes it very difficult to actually meet anyone. Everyone seemed to have come in groups or have had an established friend group previously. If you come with friends, Fabrika is magical. Plenty of bars and places to hang out. Alone, it is lonely and difficult to meet people just by the sheer vastness and intimidation of the place. Otherwise, Fabrika is beautiful and well designed.

On a different, much pickier note, the vibe that Fabrika has seems very commercialized and purposeful. It feels very performative and like a commodification of the “cool” alternative subculture that actually does exist in Tbilisi, and speaking to other travelers who have been to Fabrika, many agree with me.

The hostel itself was okay—the rooms were clean and well designed with very comfortable beds that come with two outlets and a shelf that I found very useful. The AC works well and it feels safe. Come with your own lock for the locker. However the bathrooms and showers were very dirty and stinky. Almost half of the bathroom stalls and showers were out of order, too."

"Fabrika Hostel in Tbilisi is a trendy, artsy spot set in a converted Soviet-era factory. It offers stylish dorms and private rooms, vibrant communal spaces, and a lively social atmosphere. Perfect for solo travelers and digital nomads looking for culture and community. Noise at night and limited kitchen facilities are minor downsides. Overall, it’s a unique, highly rated experience in the heart of the city"
