The panoramic city views, especially at sunset, and the peaceful gardens are also frequently highlighted as major attractions. While some note that the interior is still being finished, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many appreciating the free entry and the opportunity to witness a functioning Orthodox church.
"Amazing architecture! Very large interiors with many halls and well maintained garden, this is must see in Tbilisi. Unlike attractions in so many other cities, its free to enter. Bring properly covering clothing as its religious place."

"“Beautiful, from the inside and outside” ✨
We walked to this place. When you arrive there it is breathtaking. Especially the enormous size of this cathedral is worth mentioning.
Good to know is that you want to go inside you have to cover your shoulders and knees (both men and women). At the entrance you can grab a choir robe if you didn’t bring anything yourself.
