Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the breathtaking beauty of the Shkhara Glacier and the unique charm of Ushguli village. The journey itself, whether by foot, horse, or 4WD, is considered an adventure, with many recommending the shorter hike from the car entry point. Some find the road section of the longer hike less appealing.
"Easy to walk, there are several options!
Option 1) hike from Ushguli - very easy hiking but u have to walk on car road for more then 2 hour, and it's not so pleasent in hot days! As there is nowhere to hide.
Option 2) Horse riding - if u love riding definitely have to do this! There are many locals who just give u a horse and u can enjoy with fast riding or just chill
Option 3) hire a car that takes u till the bridge, - to skip walking on car road u can just hire a car to reach out the bridge, from where only a small trail continues towards the glacier !
Overall doesn't matter wich one u choose the place is fantastic and u gonna enjoy every moment of it!"
