So viel Wissen,...

The Saalburg camp village Along the Roman road, which led from the fort to Nida, today's Frankfurt-Heddernheim, lay the Saalburg camp village. In this village lived the families of the soldiers, but also craftsmen and merchants. The village consisted of long rectangular "strip houses" whose gable end faced the road. The walls of the houses were built of light wooden framework on stone plinths. I...

"Very historical place to visit with your family
A very useful historical place 👌🏼👌🏼
Here you can find very important information about Mithras ancient Persian God which This Persian belief was first secretly introduced by Roman soldiers to the Roman city of Ostia and quickly spread throughout Europe 🔥🔥"

"For Ancient Rome aficionados, this place will blow your mind. Roman ruins, reconstructions, displays and ancient artefacts abound. You can easily spend an entire morning or afternoon here, wandering through the reconstructed fort. Bearing in mind it was built prior to the Great War, so the architecture reflects archaeological thinking from the late Nineteenth Century. However that does not detract from the poignant atmosphere of the place. There are some excellent displays on ancient Roman life and the magnificent horse head from an equestrian statue, possibly of Augustus found nearby. The staff are super welcoming and helpful and the taverna offers some tasty examples of antique Roman fare. In close proximity to the fort you can see the Limes and a reconstruction of the frontier palisade, as well as the site of the Roman outpost that preceded the larger fortress. Well worth a visit if you’re interested in ancient history."
