"The Heart Stone in Kirchholz is hidden in the forest just above the Bad Reichenhall cemetery. It can be reached on foot from the road in about 15 minutes. The path leads up a slight incline via forest steps to the Köningsweg (King's Path). This is a somewhat steeper trail. Sturdy footwear is recommended here. The Heart Stone itself is located in a kind of depression/clearing (about 15 meters to the left from the path). Several other hearts made of twigs and stones have already been placed in the square in front of it. The place is a mystical place. It is said, for example, that if you bring something to the Heart Stone (a small offering) and then make a wish, your wish will come true. The water in the Heart Stone is also said to have healing powers. We chose a few nuts as an "offering" because we also wanted to do something good for the forest animals. Please remember that there are no trash cans there, and this beautiful spot is meant to be mystical and not "trashy." All in all, a wonderful place of peace, to linger and dream. Highly recommended."
