"A nice funicular (railway cable-car) leading to a lovely mountain top with amazing view and nice spots for a picnic. Theres ride takes a few minutes. The tower at the top offers stairs or an elevator (however even with an elevator there are a few steps to climb). There’s also a restaurant there."

"An absolute must. We walked from central Baden Baden to the station which was initially very steep. It then levels out. (Regular buses & lots of car parking). The view and walking trails are great. The cafe is reasonably priced. Naturally we scoffed a Black forest gateau which was excellent."
Nick Oram
"A wonderful funicular at the edge of town. Well worth finding. €14 for a return trip for two adults was very good value compared to other funicular railways we have been on."
