"Lovely old castle and worth a visit for the views alone! Google maps sends you the ' stairs ' way! This is a steep climb up about 300 stairs? ( We meant to go back for a picture of them but forgot! ) Otherwise you can go up the roads to it. Like I said the views are spectacular and it's free! There's a restaurant up there too but I'm guessing you might need to book?"

"Great view of Esslingen. As people have mentioned, it requires a great deal of steps to clib. I recommend taking the bus 110 from the station up to the castle. After experiencing the wonderful view, you can take the stairs back down into the town."
