"Spectacular location. Nice uphill hike through the forest. Most of the "castle" is actually a relatively modern structure built on the ruins of an older site.
Restaurant has a very limited menu of mostly traditional Swabian dishes. The kiosk - where the woman serving was curt and unfriendly - has bottled beer, sausages and chips, and not much else.
If you want better food, much better service and a more atmospheric castle experience, head for Burg Neuffen, just a few miles away."
