What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally find the Caricatura Museum a refreshing and fun stop, appreciating the diverse collection of humorous art and the unique focus on caricature. The special exhibitions, particularly those on Loriot, are often highlighted as exceptional. However, the lack of English labels can be a significant drawback for international tourists, and some find the pricing steep for the experience provided.
"Enjoyed this museum a lot. I generally prefer contemporary and modern art museums. Don’t think I’ve visited one like this before - a great collection of caricature artwork and cartoon sketches, in a range of styles. Some beautifully painted (and funny!). Some drawings and ink sketches. And just about everything in between. A refreshing and fun stop. Need about an hour."

"A nice museum with a lot of interesting artworks. Some for the giggles some for deeper thinking."
Mandy_the_Mandarin
"Beautiful artworks on display over two small floors, but the lack of English labels made it very challenging for many tourists who would like to learn more about Germany's comic culture. All comics, description labels, and introductions are only in German. The museum could be improved if there were at least short descriptions provided in English.
Some exhibition areas were inadequately lit, which makes the museum very unfriendly and unprofessional.
At 8 euros for a standard-priced ticket, it is very expensive for the quality of experience provided."
