"Tourist or not, you HAVE to at least experience this! Hidden away under the stairs to the underground this hidden treat is what you need. It's a 60 minute experience of being blind, taking place in pitch black rooms that simulate various different areas of life, from cinema, outdoors, taking a tram, to others. Feel what it's like to be blind and it's an amazing and also thought provoking museum. They do English and German tours. If you are wanting an English Tour, email them directly and they'll be able to advise. I literally emailed the day before and by 9am I had a tour booked with two others. Definitely worth it and you will look at the world in a slightly different way"

"Do not miss this! It is unique and an amazing experience on so many levels. It is an experiential interactive museum where you are guided by a blind guide in the dark through various room scenarios, where you try and decipher the environment around you and navigate it. You will be given a cane as well to try and use. It was a unique eye opening experience that turned the tables on us sighted people, and gives you a rare empathetic look into what it is like to be blind. The tour is about an hour long and there is an opportunity to have a drink and/or food in the blind bar at the end. Reserve in advance and if you do not speak German, make sure you contact them first to see if they have a tour in English available. Tina was our guide and she was outstanding. TIP: It is located underground in the subway entrance area."

"We had an amazing experience. We were in a small mixed group with people we didn’t know, everyone was friendly from staff,participant to our tour guide. I went with a 7year old, who is turning 8 soon and a 9year old, who will be 10 soon. My 7 y was scared at times and was holding my hand most of the time but was curious and enjoyed it at the same time. My 9year old loved it and 1hour wasn’t enough.
A big thanks to our guide Benji who was kind and had lots of patience with my children.
I can definitely recommend this expericene maybe from 9/10years and above.
It gave us a glimpse of how challenging everyday Situation can be if we weren‘t able to see and had to depend only on our touch,listening and smell."
