Reviews Summary
The Wasserschloss is celebrated for its stunning, picturesque location and historic charm, making it a top photo spot in Hamburg. While many appreciate the unique ambiance and views, some visitors find the on-site café to be overpriced and the food quality inconsistent, leading to a 'tourist trap' perception for some.
"Had dinner here and LOVED the vibe. Service was warm and welcoming and the food was good - menu is a bit limited but the burrata was delicious and the yogurt panna cotta with strawberries was very good. It was a bit rainy so I couldn't sit outside. I imagine on a sunny day, dining outdoors would be sublime."

"I don't know what happened with this cafe lately, it used to be a lovely place with a nice staff. Been there last week (as a couple) and got completely ignored by the staff for about 10 minutes while waiting to be seated. They passed around us. No greeting, no "please wait a bit" or anything. It wasn't during busy time, most tables were empty. Tried twice. Went away after 15 Min. waiting. Heard from a friend the same happened to them. I wonder what is wrong? Used to be a nice place."
