What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally find the Gemstone Experience World to be a fun and engaging destination, particularly for families due to the popular outdoor gemstone digging activity. While some feel the 'experience' aspect might be slightly overrated, the visual displays and the well-stocked shop offering unique jewelry and minerals are highly praised. The affordable pricing and friendly staff contribute to a positive overall impression.
"Nice shop, clean toilet, but edelstein experience a bit overrated."

"Outlet?"

"Parking for €1.50 is more than enough. The lady at the reception was very friendly and made a lot of effort to make everything run smoothly.
We really enjoyed the adventure world. We didn't need any further information about the gemstone museum and the general theme park. It might be a bit dark for very young children (3-4 years old), who might get scared. Otherwise, very beautiful stones and lovingly and imaginatively made.
The shop afterward doesn't really feel like an outlet. It's a completely normal shop with completely normal prices.
Then came our highlight. You get a shovel and a small bag and are allowed to search for hidden gemstones in the pebbles outside, around the right side of the building. The children and I had a lot of fun. If the children didn't collect that many, they were given a few stones to add to the bag at the end.
For three people (adults + two children), including the parking discount, we paid €22 for everything, which I think is totally fine."

This ensures that every child leaves with a satisfying haul, making the activity a guaranteed hit.
This interactive element is a key differentiator, offering more than just passive observation. It’s a chance to engage directly with the earth’s bounty and take home a tangible piece of your adventure. Shopping for Treasures and Souvenirs
Contrary to what some might expect from an 'outlet' designation, the shop generally features normal retail prices. However, the quality and design of the jewelry, as well as the variety of minerals available, make it a worthwhile stop for many. The staff are noted for being friendly and patient, assisting customers in finding exactly what they're looking for.
An added incentive to shop is the discount offered with your admission ticket, typically €1 off a purchase. This makes acquiring a beautiful piece of gemstone jewelry or an interesting mineral specimen even more appealing, allowing you to take a lasting memento of your visit.
