Reviews Summary

Guests praise Haus Schlesien for its unique historical significance, homely atmosphere, and excellent restaurant. The comfortable rooms and friendly staff are frequently highlighted, making it a recommended stay for its value and character. Some minor drawbacks include occasional slow restaurant service and inconsistent Wi-Fi.

"This hotel is in a historic hof in a small town close to the Rhine River. There are exhibits around the spacious property and a museum commorating the sad flucht of Schlesian refugees from their ancestal homes in Schlesia to Germany near the end of WWII. Our room was comfortable and clean and quiet. The restaurant has great food, prepared by a renowned chef, and free breakfast, and is worth a visit. I had the schnitzel which was outstanding. The staff was wonderful and highly helpful. This is an older hotel with no elevator, but it is in great shape, and you can tell it is well cared for. Highly recommended."

Jeff Ricker

"Love this place. Gives out a very family, homely vibe. The rooms are small and cozy. The surrounding very villagy. Good access with public transport. Personnel very friendly and helpful. We definitely come back for our seminars and conferences."

Myriam Sikaala

"The hotel serves as a great location, situated in a nice area in Königswinter, for conferences and seminars with relaxing ambience. The service and food provided were decent. The hotel might need to improve their internet connection if they want to prove as a better host."
