"This is one of the better kept castles that I've visited in Germany. The colors are beautiful and the grove of lemon and lime trees is magnificent. The tour of the inside was smartly done by an excellent guide who was unique in her ability to maintain the attention of all of the visitors with excellent information, a sense of humor, and a friendly disposition. The ceiling fresco was stunning. The ample grounds are free to visit and don't miss the fountain which is turned on each hour. I found the sculptures on the grounds to be unique and engaging. And although the restaurant had its share of bees, the food was very good and the service was excellent."

"Very nice site. With free parking, free to walk the grounds and a low €5 fee for an inside tour, you can't go wrong. Family friendly and worth a day trip."

"small tour with duration 1 hour and low entrance fee. the highlight inside is the white hall, the other rooms are full with old furnishture and desks. this was once the summer residence of the prince Bichop during the 18th century. the building has simple but beautiful architecture along side the gardens surrounding."
