What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors often describe Vulkanpark Infozentrum Rauschermühle as a 'missed gem' and 'very informative.' While small, its value lies in the helpful staff and engaging content, including a documentary. Many recommend it for its educational insights into volcanic history and the pleasant surrounding forest hikes.
"I really feel this is a missed gem. I never knew that Germany had volcanos until we stumbled on this place while traveling. The man at the front was very nice and helpful. We spent time learning about the area and history. Yes, the place is smaller but don't let that deter you! We watched a 20+ minute documentary (also in english) to learn how the town had evolved. I have already recommended this to my friends. My only regret was not being able to go to other places in the area other than the museum."
