Reviews Summary
Schwerin Castle is widely praised for its stunning fairytale appearance and beautiful lakeside setting, with many visitors recommending a stroll through its enchanting gardens. While the exterior is often considered more impressive than the interior by some, the castle museum offers valuable historical insights and art. Some visitors noted that tour guides can speak quietly and that audio guides were not available, which could be a minor drawback for some.
"Really beautiful castle. Courtyard is lovely to sit in as well. Live music during our visit. The Outside is quite lovely to walk around. Be sure to check out the gardens!"

"Was a nice day at the castle, the outside was more beautiful than the inside for us. The weather was great so made the atmosphere even better, I have to say seems like this part of Germany is the beautiful part. Definitely recommend visiting!"
Tashi
"Beautiful Castle!
However quite a lot of people there. The Tour is great and you can also borrow a chair so you can sit at all times. The Corridors are sometimes very narrow and some Tour guides are speaking rather quietly (for me personally was it not too bad, however for some people [especially older] was it a problem) so you can’t stand too far away from them.
Overall a great place!!!"
