Reviews Summary

Visitors find the Haus der Geschichte Baden-Württemberg to be an engaging museum, particularly praised for its interactive exhibits and focus on personal stories. While the primary language is German, the visual displays and free August entry make it a highly recommended experience for understanding regional history. Some find certain exhibits repetitive, but the overall consensus is positive for its educational and immersive approach.

"free entrance in August. its a 2 floor museum of region and people history, the radical change in regiment, the mix culture and the inventions made.very interesting what i found awesome is the lighting map of the region from 1790 with steps and the moving tiles in the section of rebellion."

david antoun

"Great museum, focuses mostly on recent history. Not that many historical artifacts compared to other regional museums but has tons of personal stories and testimonies"

Mikhail Labar

"Moderately interesting museum showcasing the history of the Baden-Würtemmberg area. Some of the exhibits don't seem to tie together very well and/or feel irrelevant. Additionally, some of the items feel repetitive. For example, there will be a passport from some random soldier from 1939, and then 4 display cases you will find another passport from the same time period. Note these are not significant people, just random documents they've received.
Also note that all item descriptions are in German."
