What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Uhlbach Wine Museum for its educational exhibits and the incredibly welcoming staff who make the experience feel personal. The opportunity to taste the museum's own wine brand, especially the red, is a significant highlight. While not a large museum, it offers a charming glimpse into local wine history and is enhanced by the beautiful surrounding vineyards and chapel.
"Very educational tour given by Mr Wolfgang Mack (probably the boss/owner, most likely a very experienced sommelier; I didn't ask). Overall great service, made us feel very welcome, like at a friend's house.
He recommended us a fruity white (Collegium Wirtemberg, 2015 Müller-Thurgau feinherb) which was wonderful - the first white wine I actually liked, and I don't even drink."

"Interesting wine museum in Stuttgart that express the story and dewelopment of wineyards in BW. Its clear that wine quality not the best but good. Inside is full of historical samples from the old days. I like the old wine openers. At the entrance you can taste some local wines. It would make a better marketing if they include the wine tasting in the ticket and increase little bit the entrance fee:)"
