"A super morning spent taking the factory tour! We had a super friendly and informative tour guide called Vilson. He was fantastic!! Made the tour very interesting! We watched a short video showing an aerial view of the plant before getting on the bus to see the robots on the factory floor. There’s some 5000 robots that build the cars here. They manufacture the E-class, GLA, and Maybach and we saw stages of these cars being built. Photos are forbidden during the tour except in the Safety Demo room. We saw the assembly plant and watched the staff do the customisation of each cars on the line. It was fascinating to see how parts arrive just in time (actually 2 hours before installation) and the teams of staff putting them into the cars!
Back at the centre, we had lunch and browsed the gift shop!! A fantastic morning and highly recommend!!"

"Terrible experience. We booked the intensive factory tour 3 months in advance. We arranged our whole European visit around this booking. It was going to be the highlight of our trip for our teenager. Mercedes cancelled 5 days before the tour date. Instead we were offered this terrible Discovery Tour which is a bus trip looking at the factory buildings. Ridiculous waste of time. Stay away!"
