The scenic point is impressive but I think there are better views on many other places on the island. The short hike down to the flat area allows for breathtaking shots if someone can stay higher up and take photos of you. There is an eatery in the parking area for food and drinks (including alcohol). Nice stop away from all the tourists, and if you have extra time and transportation."

"The lighthouse is not open for tours, however it is neat to visit and definitely a must see during a visit to Santorini! We were pleasantly surprised to find beautiful, picturesque photo opportunities among various rock formations down behind the lighthouse. I do recommend wearing sneakers, or solid hiking shoes to navigate the terrain. Careful and sure footing will be a must to get incredible photos. The views are definitely worth the hike! We would highly recommend and would visit again!"
