"I walked through this park today whilst in Chania and came across the most amazing tree! I've seen loads of huge plane trees here on Crete, I've seen some ancient olive trees as well, but this tree (not sure what it is, but I must find out!) is one of the most beautiful and interesting trees I've seen here. I will definitely be going back soon to see it again :) . The public gardens are great with some brilliant public facilities, a really interesting looking cafe in a fab building and some beautiful water features."
