"I wasn’t going to do this post as wasn’t sure how I felt, our families recommended that we make the trip to Souda Bay allied war cemetery whilst we were in Crete and whilst we felt very somber whilst there, it just makes you feel thankful. It’s incredibly well kept, but there are some 700 headstones with no names which I found difficult. I couldn’t imagine how that must feel for the families. It’s definitely worth a visit just to pay your respects."
