Your un negotiable must see spots in Crete
Hi all I’m going to Crete for 5 days, rental car is booked. Here’s what I have on my list so far, I’ve considered balos but I obviously won’t take the car down that awful path and I can’t really shell out 40€ for a ferry so any suggestions are appreciated!

"We were there today and everything is open as usual. Sun beds, Mermaid Taverna etc. Beautiful beach. Nudist too."
John Weinberg
"Mix of pebble, rocks and sand. Only accessible by ferry/boat/water taxi or hiking the E40 trail from Loutro or Sflakia. More clothed and families on the end closest to the tavern, more naked (straight and gay) couples and singles at the far end. Lots of ferry times and can easily spend an afternoon there.
Beautiful, calm cove for swimming. Water is incredible."
Brigham Pierce
"A little piece of heaven hidden in a cove. Crystal clear turquoise waters. Complete serenity and calm. Only a couple dozen umbrella settings or so. You can only get here by boat or tracking a relatively easy but still very rocky trail for about 20 mins.
Boats run several times a day and will offer a taxi service to drive you up to where you parked your car.
Part of the beach is clothing optional."
