"The views across the ocean are spectacular, and the grounds of the monastery are beautifully kept. But the access to the buildings within the monastery is very limited. The main building itself (the one you specifically go for with its domes and ornate architecture are off limits to visitors.
That's all you're left with building-wise is a small, packed chapel and of course the gift shop. How disappointing.
Go for the views, but don't expect much in terms of seeing the monastery itself :("
