It is a respectful and uplifting use a space, and I’m quite confused at those that criticize this. If you consider the centuries of history and learn that most churches and mosques in the region have been destroyed when the conquering religion comes in, maybe you can celebrate those that still exist and are lovingly cared for as this mosque is. If you can, plan to visit when you can see and hear this ethereal space."
