What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the dramatic beauty and challenging adventure of Ridomo Gorge, calling it a hidden gem. While the full hike is demanding and requires good physical condition, the stunning limestone formations and narrow passages offer a unique experience. The easier upper trail is a great alternative for those seeking views without the intensity.
"The gorge is very impressive. The tour starts near the village Vorio. You walk down to the bottom of the gorge. The way upwards starts easy, but the main parts are climbing, sometimes difficult and dangerous. Do not do it without any experience or with small children. The best views are at the end of the gorge.
There is also the possibility to walk the upper way to the end of the gorge (4.5 km), which is really easy. You can take nice views into the landscape and to the best parts of the gorge without any danger."

"...in winter difficult...cause of the water...the trail is the river itselfe...don't drive up to the google point...only one spot maybe two for parking...long steep but easy trail down...drive up tricky up from south trough a gap in between houses max.2.20m from north not even more beteeen a wall and a fence...
..my advice park down at the old bridge crossing the river, lots of space and hike up in the river...."
