What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Drogarati Cave is praised for its impressive geological formations and unique natural acoustics, offering a cool escape from the heat. However, some visitors find the entrance fee high for the relatively short visit duration and note the lack of extensive educational information.
"This would be interesting if you are very into geology. For our group, we would have been fine skipping it. There aren’t a lot of signs or educational material along the way. That said, it’s a huge cave with thousands of rock formations and colors, and a good escape from the heat"

"At 10 euros each we thought this would be a good place to go. Unfortunately all it is, is a hole in the roof of a cave. You get on a rowing boat with alot of other people. The boatman will row to the other end of the cave and back again. It took about 10 minutes if that and you get off again. Very expensive for what you get. Not worth rhe money. Took a few pics and thats it.. very uneventful. Took longer to line up and pay tbh. Wouldn't waste your money."

"A unique cave with impressive rock formations and a fascinating underground setting. If you are visiting Zakynthos, it is definitely worth making the trip to Kefalonia to explore this cave along with the nearby Melissani Cave. Just be prepared for a long staircase on the way in and out, especially if you are visiting during the warmer hours. Please note there is not much educational material."
