What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Venetsanos Winery is celebrated for its absolutely stunning caldera views and unique, historic architecture. Visitors rave about the excellent wine tasting experiences, often paired with delicious local food, and the friendly, attentive service. It's considered a more intimate and less crowded alternative to some other popular Santorini spots, making it highly recommended for a relaxing and memorable visit.
"The oldest winery on the island, the popular drink is still made on the side of a hill. Walk inside and you'll find several levels that do deeper. There's a little museum that talks about its history and then a tasting room. Ordering tastings and food, it was a relaxing place for lunch. The sweet white wine tasting was excellent and we ended up buying some white wine at the end from their shop. Service was excellent and the views are absolutely stunning! It was too windy when we went so staff had everyone sit inside, but the restroom is outside and wow- I'll never forget that view!"

"Loved our time here! The view was beautiful and the wine very lovely.
Went to santo as well and think this is better if you like a smaller, more intimate feel with just as good wine and views!!
Wine history museum also very interesting.
Highly recommend."

Their tasting is very curated, and eclectic. Be mindful of the cheeses!"
