Reviews Summary

Visitors find Mercado de Artesanías La Aurora to be a vibrant place with a wide variety of authentic Guatemalan crafts, from textiles to leather goods and unique art pieces. While prices can be high and negotiation is advised, the market's convenient location near the airport, free parking, and friendly atmosphere make it a worthwhile stop for souvenirs and cultural immersion.

"Maybe I am uncultured, but it seems like most shops sell the same stuff with even the same designs. There are a couple of shops with cool unique products.

The one thing I bought was a Guatemalan bag with a nice design. It looks very beautiful but after a few uses, the strap broke and I had to sew it back together. It was 20 USD so it was pretty expensive for what seemed like a tote bag.

I didn't have a really good experience here. But this is a beautiful place to look around."

Erik Z

"Excellent spot to discover unique, handmade local products and traditional Mayan ornaments."

Lauj voo

"Near from the airport, easy to access. Also easily can find cute cosas for friends and family. Visa card also accepts here, clean and well organized market"
