"A must visit if you have 2 hours, you will see all in this time incl garden. It was fully booked on the website but we emailed as we had a special birthday when visiting and we were staying at Pandora 2 doors up. They said to come down when they opened to see if there was room, and there was, so thank you for such great communication and being so accommodating. Our guide was a young french girl from Britanny who was extremely knowledgeable, passionate on it's history and made us laugh, she is a true credit to the museum. This house’s location gives you the most stunning views of St. Peter Port and the surrounding coastline. It was very interesting to hear all about Victor Hugo and the history of the house and his family, we learnt a lot. Loved seeing the artwork from both himself and his very talented wife."
