Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Hoi Ha Wan Marine Park for its stunning natural beauty, particularly its vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine life, making it a top spot for snorkeling and kayaking. The tranquil atmosphere, especially on weekdays, is a major draw. However, some find the journey to reach the park a bit long, and facilities are quite basic, requiring visitors to come well-prepared.

"Marine centre is worth to visit, very nice views. Good to take the glass bottomed boat ride to see the underwater creatures like corals, starfish, sea cucumbers and fishes. Boat is polished with environmental friendly paints n made in Australia. Very comfortable n safe."

Pauline good

"One of the better site for snorkeling in Hong Kong, it would be much better if there are some properly maintained changing rooms and shower facility in the area.

Do note that the park is located within a restricted area, where private cars are off limit. Some of the kayak rental place there can arrange a permit for you to enter with a fee, but that permit can only get you pass the gate, once you're in, street parking is still illegal and you will still be ticketed for that.

Avoid weekends at all cost, is packed like a can of sardines."

Mister Wong

"A great place to learn more about ocean conservation at the park. The boat tour was really interesting with see-through bottom panels so we could look at corals without getting wet. The kids on board were certainly excited about this boat trip. My only complaint was that the water was too choked to get a good view of the corals and other marine lives around them."
