Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Pannonhalma Arboretum for its serene beauty and diverse flora, especially the stunning lavender fields. While some note a lack of plant identification tags, the peaceful atmosphere and historical significance, including the medicinal garden, are highly appreciated. It's considered a perfect complement to a visit to the Archabbey.
"A very nice place to visit, especially in the heat of the summer. Somewhat unkempt and lacking plant name tags (which you would expect in a botanical garden), but maybe this is partially done on purpose. There are some "hidden" gems to look for in the area (gazebo etc.). There is also access to the lavender plantation from here."

"Archabbey of Pannonhalma has a beautiful landscape all round with lavender fields and a famous arboretum. After or before visitig thr Archabbey itself, it is a great idea to take awalk in the arboretum and visit the small shop and bar beside the lavender fields. The shop offers fresh tea and lemonade made of the herbs that grow there. You can also buy health-boosting souvenirs in the shop."
