"We hiked from Skogafoss- 5km and back. It was the best day hike in Iceland."

"Absolutely stunning, I couldn't recommend this hike more. Over 20 waterfalls all the way up. It is a pretty easy hike to start but you should probably an experienced hiker with proper materials if you want to hike all the way past the glaciers. You definitely should bring a good raincoat because even if you think it won't rain, it will or you will be hiking through the clouds. Stay on the trails, stay dry, and respect nature."

"One of the best day hikes I’ve ever done. When I say “day hike,” I mean “all day hike.” Left Skogar after breakfast, hiked by 26 waterfalls, 2 glaciers, dormant volcanos, and some of the most incredible sights imaginable. Got to Basar in the early afternoon and walked another hour to the Volcano Huts in Thorsmork. We had a few beers and soup and caught a bus home around 8 at night. 10/10 recommend."
