"Incredible and spectacular view of waterfall. Easy trek for adults, but do not recommend for small kids or old aged. there is a well laid trail. Easy to navigate. The views are breathtaking and mindblowing. A good place to recharge yourself and disconnect from the fast moving urban lifestyle.
However there maybe some hooligans who create a rucus and create a disturbance for people visiting. some people remove their clothes not considering the fact that there and women and kids around. Sad to see many people disposing waste and wrappers here."

"Onake Abbe falls ❤️ Jewel of Agumbe ❤️
If u are a nature lover and if u love Trekking then must visit place in Agumbe Rainforest ❤️.
If u planning to visit do visit along with proper groups or nowadays few groups organize trek to this falls. So u can get the information through facebook or through Instagram.
Or if u r planning to visit along with your friends means u need to take permission from Forest department officials in Agumbe / in Someshwar So there is entry fee to this falls they charge 350rs per person and they don't allow to go solo or privately so they send guide along with u but they charge separately 1.5k for guide fees.
So if u go in group means its worthy ☺️
Trek is not so easy and it's one side 3.5km Totally steap this trek is not for beginners.
I took 1hr to reach the waterfall it's all depends upon your stamina so visit madi enjoy madi ❤️.

"Just mesmerizing. Visited this place today and would love to visit again. I am sure this is one of the less known waterfalls in this region but definitely worth visiting.
Definitely pick this as a spot to spend 1 day if you love trekking and you like waterfalls. Trekking is moderate/easy but not the easiest."

The Agumbe Rainforest Experience
The rainforest is also known for its reptilian inhabitants, including various species of snakes. While this might sound daunting, it underscores the importance of staying on marked trails and being aware of your surroundings. Local guides are invaluable for navigating safely and identifying interesting aspects of the ecosystem that you might otherwise miss. The experience is truly immersive, allowing you to disconnect from the urban hustle and reconnect with nature's raw beauty.
Visiting during or just after the monsoon season amplifies the rainforest's magic. The air is thick with the scent of wet earth, and the vegetation is at its most vibrant. However, this also means increased leeches and potentially more challenging trekking conditions. Proper gear and a cautious approach are key to enjoying this incredible natural wonder.
Trekking to Onake Abbi Falls: What to Expect
Safety is paramount on this trek. Due to the remote location and dense forest, it's highly recommended to go with a group and hire a local guide. Guides are not only knowledgeable about the terrain but also aware of potential wildlife encounters, such as leeches and snakes. The forest department often mandates guides, and their fees are an additional cost to consider. The journey itself is an exploration, offering glimpses of the Western Ghats' natural splendor.
While the trek requires effort, the sight of the magnificent Onake Abbi Falls at the end makes it all worthwhile. The sound of the cascading water and the breathtaking view are a perfect reward for your efforts. Remember to carry sufficient water and snacks, as amenities are scarce along the trail.
