"I have been to Wadhwana twice. Hobbyist photographer here. And the place is a haven for bird-watchers and photographers. Local and migratory birds, flocks, especially between October to March. Healthy sightings. And the environment is calm and serene. Get there by 6am. Watch the sunrise, the light shining over the surrounding fields and the water. No pollution, air or noise. Good spot for a visit with family and friends.
Only a request to those visiting: Please maintain discipline and decorum when traveling there. Unruly behaviour, shouting, littering - it disturbs the birds, scares them away.
