"From Hira Gate,our next stop is Nandodi gate.ie 3 rd gate.
Each gate is worth visiting and has it's own unique features. Each surpasses the other in some way. So visiting each Gate is a must.
Though simple externally there appears two peculiarities. One the big statues inside and spread out area with a well inside.
Google shows correct location and a visit on Sunday is better as you can drive your vehicle through the streets.
The ASI caretaker here is helpful and if you request,gives you a brief history and shows you around happily.

This one of four Bhagols (Gates) at Dabhoi. Restored by the ASI. Looks as good as something restored by the ASI does. Its possible to walk up to the top of the two gates here. Many of the pics here at Google Maps are not of Nandodi Gate.
