After several years, I finally revisited the Amaravathi Crocodile Park - and what an experience it was! This place used to be a childhood memory, and we decided to make it our destination for a short trip from our native. The journey itself added to the excitement, but reaching the park brought back so many flashes of the past - though nothing matched the way I remembered it. 😄
Earlier, it used to feel more like a fish farm, with several tanks filled with baby crocodiles. This time, I mostly saw matured and older crocodiles, and the park layout has changed a lot over the years. It’s more organized now, with a good number of families and children visiting. It was heartwarming to see people enjoying nature and wildlife together.
Despite the changes, the experience was awesome! We walked around, relived some old memories (even though most of them had faded), and totally felt like teenagers again. 😆
We also spent a peaceful time near the reservoir - a calm and beautiful spot to just relax and soak in the views. It was the perfect way to wrap up the visit.
If you're looking for a quick escape into nature or want to explore something different with your family or friends, this place is absolutely worth a visit. Sunday well spent! 🌿🐊"

"Visited Crocodile Farm on our trip to Coimbatore to Munnar and it was a great experience. Never seen so many crocodiles together at one place. My son was so excited seeing the crocodiles and my daughter was a bit afraid. The entry fee for adults is ₹20 and ₹10 for kids. Also we need to pay for parking and an entry fee. After spending time in a crocodile farm we visited a nearby dam and also did boating and enjoyed the freshly caught fish from the dam. The worst thing about the place was we have to pay for using the toilet also. Deducting one star for toilet fee and one star for non-maintained kids area."
