Reviews Summary
Deras Dam is praised for its breathtaking natural beauty, offering a serene escape with stunning water views and mountain backdrops, making it ideal for picnics and photography. However, some visitors feel the maintenance could be improved despite the entry fee, and recommend specific routes to avoid poor road conditions.
"Nice place. Parking available for 4 wheelers (Rs.30). It opens at 8AM. We went early but could enter. Purchased ticket on our return (Rs.40). Place is ideal for early morning visit. They should revise time to 6AM and accept online payment.
Don't follow the route suggested by Google Map. It goes through villages, narrow roads in very bad condition. On top of it at several places it was completely blocked by cows. Go via Center of Excellence for Horticulture. Road is good and you will enjoy the journey."

"The dam offers a breathtaking experience, with its stunning expanse of crystal-clear water surrounded by lush green fields and majestic mountains. But the only downside was the spot was poorly maintained despite collecting Rs.40 from each person. It is a request to the local authority to kindly use funds towards establishing the place. Best to visit during monsoon and winter seasons."

"Parking Fee for Two wheelers - Rs. 10
Entry Fee - Rs. 40
A great spot to chill out. Because of its abundance of greenery, nature enthusiasts would adore it. A large area to explore. It also serves as a picnic area."
