What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Binsar Mahadev Temple for its serene location amidst deodar forests and its spiritual ambiance. The moderate trek is often highlighted as a rewarding experience, though some note the limited accommodation options.
"Centuries Old Shiv Temple In A New Structure, Situated Among The Deodar Of Dudhatoli Range.
It's A Moderate Trek From Peethsain Village Of Thalisain Block In Pauri District. Though Another Shorter Trek Is Being Laid Down Form Jagatpuri Side, But It's Not In Proper Walkable Conditions.
Temple Is Associated With Pandavas Era, With Many Old Age Sculptures Present In The Premises. It Would Be Better If You Arrange Night Stay Accommodation Before Reaching There. As There Are Very Options Present There. Another Hike Of 2 KM Takes You Up To Brahamdungi Rock, Said To Be Mata's Abode. It Was Worth Visiting The Temple."

"One of the best offbeat locations to visit in Pauri Garhwal. Binsar mahadev is a temple located in Peethsain. It involves an 11 km trek, which is beginner-friendly."
