"Mixed feelings to rate the Haveli. It's truly a beautiful haveli of the Karpen Royal family (brother to the then ruling King of Bundi). So you're actually staying in the Royal Haveli of the Royal family plus the current family still stays here on one side (private area). Our first experience staying in a haveli and (by luck in a royal haveli).
Coming to the hotel and rooms and service:
Room:
Huge and maintained the old architecture, style. 👍 Bedsheets and towels are a little worn out.
Washroom:
Huge with dressing table inside
Negative: floor is very slippery (due to poor maintenance/lack of scrubbing cleaning). No single hanger / hook on walls or doors to hang clothes, a very basic necessity (quite shocked).
Service: there is no one ever at reception, front office, common area or anywhere to be found. No bell to ring for them. Finding the service person is a task. Once you find them, they're ready to help you to the best but the issue is finding them in that haveli.
There are too many insects and mosquitoes in the premise. They should do something for controlling them.
Proximity to market/tourist places: very good
it's value for money for the price they charge but a haveli experience is not there (hospitality, interaction with haveli ppl etc)."

"Frankly, this place failed to give that Rajasthani warmth of hospitality. The Property is good but the staff and service was mediocre. The person at the reception was behind us from 9am for checkout as their other guests were expected, which was very rude. Despite having breakfast included ( for which I paid 1500 extra) they charged me Rs 150 for 300 ml of milk for my child. Breakfast option was only aloo paratha and poha."
