"It is considered a history landmark as it is said that Vasco da Gama landed at this place when he visited India. There is just a stone monument, which is on the road side and there was no protection to this monument what so ever. There is a carving on the monument about Vasco da Gama. The place is dirty and lot of garbage around the stone monument. Disappointed to see that there is no attempt to maintain or preserve this. Feels like it is ignored. There is not much to see here except for the beach on the opposite side of this place. You can visit the beach instead."
