"Tucked away amidst Darjeeling’s lush greenery, St. Andrew’s Church is a serene escape — a place where time seems to slow down, inviting quiet reflection and spiritual calm. Built in 1843 for the Scottish community, it’s one of the oldest churches in town, standing as a graceful witness to Darjeeling’s colonial past. Its stone walls, stained glass windows, and polished wooden interiors speak of a bygone era, with every detail echoing the British architectural influence that shaped it."

"St. Andrew’s Church is a very beautiful historic church situated on a hill overlooking the city of Darjeeling with sweeping views of the valley below. It’s a very calm, tranquil and peaceful setting. The church itself was originally constructed in 1843 and rebuilt an 1873 after the original church was damaged due to lightning. I visited in January, 2025 on a Sunday and the gates were locked So I was only able to view the church from the exterior. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in Darjeeling."
