The monsoon season enhances its beauty but also increases the difficulty due to slippery conditions.
"Maharastra has many treaking places. In that harihar fort should be on top of the list. Perfect timing of visit may propably at the start or at end of the monsoon i sugges at exact end of monsoon with small drizziles with less crowd time.
I strongly suggest not to take more valuable particularly backpacks with you while climbing as guardians (monkeys) will check you completely. It may not happen at all times but sometimes they will interept at mid of the steep steps. Dont panic.
In the context of refreshments, it has sufficient shops. I would suggest to try maggiee near pond which gives good view and chill weather.
Dont confuse with the routes as it has two ways. Ome through public bus which would take you through good forest track.
Oher one is private vehicles spot. Where most of the visiters prefer.
It is really a good pleasent place for check yourself will power."

"Really a thrilling trek. Up to 80 degree stair easy trek. 80 degree steps up climbing risk level moderate but climbing down risk level high.
Please maintain same posture while coming down on rock cut steps as maintained climbing up.
So many monkeys so take care.
No need to carry much water bottles as up to the top some stores. They are selling Maggie. Lamont sarbat . Water bottles and sweet corn. Keep some energy bar and dry nuts.
After reach top wonderful view."

"The 80° steep steps 🪜 are a major attraction of this fort, making the trek slightly challenging due to the steep inclination.
There is an entry fee (30 INR per person) that they collect at the entrance of the village.
Small snack 🍫 shops are there above and on the way.
Handholds are carved into the stairs to provide support, use both your hands while climbing. After climbing 117 almost vertical steps, you will reach the entrance gate of the fort.
At the top, trekkers are rewarded with breathtaking views, ancient ruins, and a thrilling sense of adventure. Harihar Fort ⛰️ is a perfect destination for thrill-seekers and nature lovers.
Overall, it's an unforgettable experience, especially during the monsoon season. 🌫️🌧️
Note:
1. Before planning your visit, check weather conditions. ☁️🌡️
2. Try to arrive early in the morning. It will help you avoid crowds and traffic jams on the stairs during the climb. 🌄
3. While climbing down, avoid looking directly at the bottom. 🔻
4. Be sure to maintain the same posture while climbing down that you maintained while climbing up. It means keep your face toward the stairs."
