"Carla Caves (Karla Caves) is a beautiful and historic place, definitely worth visiting if you love ancient architecture and peaceful surroundings. The caves are around 30 minutes drive from Lonavala, and you can go all the way up to the starting point in your own car.
Once you reach, there are steps that take you up to the caves, and the climb is manageable. The main cave is impressive with its large pillars and old Buddhist architecture—perfect for photography and for people who enjoy historical sites.
However, there are a few issues you should be aware of:
Parking is not well managed.
There is some confusion, and it feels like they only focus on collecting money rather than providing proper service. No proper receipt is given, which does not feel professional.

The climb up takes a bit of effort, but once you reach, it’s calm, breezy, and totally worth it. There’s a quiet energy inside the caves that makes you want to just sit and take it all in.
It’s a great break from city noise simple, raw, and full of history. Go early, wear comfy shoes, and don’t forget water.👍🏼"
