"Hi guys I am from Bengaluru and I visited this Beautiful Temple on 21/7/25.
1) Temple timings is from 7AM to 12Noon and from 4pm to 8PM.
2) This temple is a hidden gem in Kumbhakonam. It is a bit far from center of the city, so not many visitors come here except local people.
3) We reached here early morning We were the only people in the temple and flocks of peacocks welcomed us.
4) The Lord Ganesha idol here is very special as it is believed that it is made from the froth from ocean so statue of Ganesha is White in Colour, no abhishekam
5) Also it is said that Sage Durvasa did a yagnya here and established the Shivalinga here. There are many other Shivalingas associated with different sages in the temple.
6) The temple complex is huge and finely made.
7) Do visit it while in Kumbhakonam. It is not very far from Swamimalai temple, so you can plan these together.
8) Mobile phones are allowed inside the temple.

9) Temple is located in the Main Road itself so parking will be on Road Side only.
