"The dam is one big place to visit and more enthralling is the very well maintained lush green botanical garden with well shaped hedges. And excellent place for families with kids to enjoy a picnic here. Theres a small snack shop with very limited packaged snacks and drinks. Suggest they also keep some refundable fee to prohibit plastic disposal by tourists to maintain it. Lovely place . Dam is simply magnificent with great photo ops. Theres a 60 rs fee for entry which is justified as the place is well kept. And keeping mind its a dam , security will restrict photos at certain locations. Entrance to the steps leading to dam steps is a quite a bit of walk. So be prepared in hot weather with caps and walking shoes . Enjoyable if you are an outdoor person."
