The garden area is well maintained, perfect for a slow walk or just relaxing.
The highlight is definitely the unique circular spillway. The design is quite impressive, and when water flows through it, you can even spot a faint rainbow, which looks beautiful. It’s also a nice place for photography and short nature walks.
However, there are a few things to note:
No proper parking space, so you might need to manage with roadside parking.
The place opens around 9 AM, so plan accordingly.
No restrooms available, and when we visited, it was extremely hot. There’s no shaded area to rest or take cover from the sun.
Would definitely recommend carrying an umbrella, cap, and water.
Overall, Salaulim Dam is a calm, scenic, and must-visit spot at least once in South Goa, especially if you enjoy nature, fresh air, and a break from city noise."
