"Visited Ammachi Kottaram (Queen’s Palace) during my trip to Kuttikkanam, and it’s a place filled with history and mystery. The surroundings are calm and scenic, with a peaceful atmosphere that makes you imagine how royal and beautiful this palace must have been in its prime. The architecture still shows traces of its old charm, and it’s interesting to see how the Queen once lived in this serene hilltop area.
However, the palace is now in a very poor condition — most of the buildings are damaged and not maintained at all. The structures are slowly falling apart, and it’s sad to see such a beautiful part of history being forgotten. There’s one very old man living there now, who looks after the place in his own way. He allows visitors inside if you give him a small amount as an entry fee (he even accepts GPay). It’s worth visiting if you’re into exploring old, abandoned places and want to feel a bit of Kerala’s royal past — but it truly deserves better preservation."

"Situated in about 2 kms from Kuttikkanam town. Auto services are available in case if you don't have vehicle to travel.
Its a historic building built by Sree Chithira Thirunnal as his summer residence. and the environment is nice. Calm and peaceful atmosphere. Usually not crowded.
Nothing much to see in my opinion."
