What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the breathtaking natural beauty and serene atmosphere of Betta Byraveshwara Temple, highlighting its ancient spiritual significance and connection to the Pandavas. However, the increasing popularity has led to crowds and disruptions from video shoots, impacting the peaceful experience. Road conditions during monsoon and washroom facilities are also noted areas for improvement.
"It is supposed to be such a serene place, people have spoilt the peace of this location. At any point of time min 50 - 100 people are there, screaming, making videos, taking pics, we even witnessed 2 pre-wedding photoshoots.
Place by itself is like heaven, but if you wish to spend peaceful moments... this is not the place anymore, unfortunate."

"The nature around the temple is breathtaking, with lush greenery all around creating a peaceful vibe. The weather was cool and pleasant, making it a perfect time to explore the place.
However, there are a few things to keep in mind:
Washroom facilities need improvement – maintenance is poor.
Road conditions can be tricky in monsoon – we saw a few fallen trees on the way, which made travel a bit difficult. It’s best to drive carefully and be prepared for some delays."

"We visited this place in January. Stayed in homestay close by so that we could come here early morning.
Reach the place early or else you will see only marriage video shootings who will occupy the place everywhere. After the infamous movie release it has become fashion.
Place was very calm. Ample parking space. No parking charges.
Temple opens at 8 am. Nothing much to do there, just enjoy the cool breeze and scenic view."
