Operated by the government, this farm stands out not only for its scenic beauty but also for its commitment to eco-friendly practices. The farm primarily cultivates oranges, but its diversity extends to other fruits like passion fruit, guava, and strawberry, along with vegetables such as carrot, cabbage, and radish — all thriving thanks to the cool hill station climate.

What truly enhances the farm’s appeal is its fully functional fruits and vegetables processing centre. This facility adds value to the farm’s produce by creating high-quality squashes, jams, pickles, and more. Visitors can buy these freshly made products at the on-site sales outlet, making it a great spot for both sightseeing and shopping.

"There is no entry fee to visit the farm, which is located in the heart of the town. We can park our vehicles roadside. The farm is beautifully maintained, and we can see different types of flowers and vegetables depending on the season.

Unfortunately, we couldn't find any oranges this time. However, it's a great experience to visit Nelliyampathy. The staff are friendly, and we can locate a beautiful tree house inside the farm, where we can see the entire garden view.

There is an option to buy organic vegetables inside the farm."
